Changing your banking details
Banking changes require TradeSafe re-verification. Contact support to initiate.
Once your TradeSafe token is created with banking details, you can't change them via the form. This is a TradeSafe policy — banking changes require fresh KYC + AVS verification.
How to change banking
- Email support@crankmart.com with:
- Your account email
- The new bank, account number, and account type
- A brief reason (closed account / switched banks / etc.)
- CrankMart support contacts TradeSafe on your behalf
- TradeSafe initiates re-verification — they may ask for a bank-issued letter or recent statement
- Once approved, your token is updated and future payouts route to the new account
Timing
Typically 1-3 business days end-to-end. Faster if your new account is the same name and bank as the old one.
What about open transactions?
Any in-flight orders (state: escrow_funded, shipped) continue to settle to your old account. The new banking takes effect for orders placed AFTER the re-verification completes.
If you need an urgent change because you've lost access to the old account, flag this in your email and we'll prioritise.
Why so much friction?
Banking changes are the most common vector for account-takeover fraud — an attacker who gets into your CrankMart account would try to redirect payouts to their own bank. The re-verification gate stops that.
