Launch pricing & offers (2026)

CrankMart is in launch mode. Two pricing changes landed on 2026-05-24 — both apply to new bookings only. Anyone already on the previous rates is grandfathered until their current package ends.

Featured stays the most popular option — same 30-day window, social share card, and search-result highlighting. Headline retains the homepage spotlight, newsletter inclusion, and dedicated event-page boost.

Grandfathering: if you booked at the old rates before 2026-05-24, your current event runs out at the price you paid. New bookings from organisers (and re-runs of past events) use the new prices.

Shop directory — Pro launch offer

We're offering first 3 months free on the Pro tier for new shop signups during the launch window.

• R0 for 90 days, then R399/mo.
• Cancel anytime during the free period — no charge.
• Includes everything in the Pro tier: featured badge, homepage rotating feature slot, up to 30 photos, category top placement, monthly analytics, monthly boost credit.
• Offer applies to new Pro signups only (not retroactive to existing subscribers).

Why we adjusted prices

For events: the SA cycling event market anchors around R150/listing on competing platforms. The previous Featured rate (R299) priced us out of comparison; the new rate puts us decisively below the anchor while keeping a clear margin between Featured and Headline.

For shops: the Pro tier compounds best after a shop has a few months of inventory and reviews on the platform. The 3-month runway lets new shops cross that threshold before paying — and shops that don't get value during the free window can leave without friction.
